Totalitarianism is apolitical system that developed in Europe between the two world wars. Under this system, a dictator or a political party rules the state with absolute power. There is strict control over the mass media. They suppress all opposition and adopt an expansionist foreign policy.

Appeasement


Appeasement is a policy to negotiate with and meet the demands of the aggressor in order to prevent war.
The Holocaust was the systematic murder of Jews and others by the Nazis during the Second World War.
The crash of the Wall Street Stock market in 1929 brought about a worldwide economic crisis. It marked the beginning of the Great Depression.
